MEET OUR BOARD MEMBERS

Cheryl Flood
Our president, Cheryl Flood, has been involved in religious education for St. Philomena Montessori School and Sacred Heart of Jesus parish for three years. She holds both Level I and II Catechesis of the Good Shepherd certifications and is currently completing Level III training. Cheryl’s previous occupation as a CPA working with nonprofit organizations and small businesses will prove helpful in management of the organization. Cheryl is the mother of six children and has been married to her husband, Scott, for 29 years. Cheryl and her family have been parishioners at Sacred Heart of Jesus for over 25 years.

Meg Becker
Meg Becker, our Vice President, is an agriculturist, dreamer, marketer and is the parent of a student at St. Philomena Montessori School. As the Associate Director of Client Engagement with Midan Marketing, Meg specializes in long-term and strategic marketing and communications planning for her clients and brings her expertise and business acumen to the volunteer team of Friends of St. Philomena Montessori School. Meg is a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church and St. Joseph Pillar of Families Parishes, and is also active in evangelization by serving as a panelist for Wine, Women, and Jesus, a Catholic Women's ministry. Meg and her husband, Brock, live in Botkins, Ohio with their two daughters, Addie and Clara.

Amy Egbert
Amy Egbert serves as the Secretary and Treasurer of Friends of St. Philomena Montessori School. As a small business owner and consultant, Amy brings her experience in leadership, marketing, communications, and operations to the organization. Amy also is the Operations Manager for Catholic Sprouts, LLC. Amy actively shares her faith journey through social media, especially how Catechesis of the Good Shepherd has impacted her children. Amy is the mother of three girls who all attend St. Philomena Montessori School. Amy has been married to her husband and high-school sweetheart, Kurt, since 2016. Amy resides in Botkins, OH and is a member of St. Lawrence parish. She has been so impacted by Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, that her passion for sharing this program is evident to all who know her.
